We have received a number of inquiries about why Black Dog is not performing at the BB Kings "Zepfest" show, so...
BB Kings offered the first slot to Black Dog to perform Led Zeppelin 1, but we regretfully declined. We felt that it would be unfair for Black Dog fans to pay full price for a forty-five minute set instead of the full two hour show. We realize that there may be some who might prefer to see two bands play two shorter sets, but we felt that it was unlikely that our fans were of that mindset.
Black Dog owes its success to all of you who continue to come to see the band, so we make band decisions with the fans best interest in mind. What's good for you is good for us in the long run. We hope to be back in BB Kings with the full show soon...
